In prayer this week, the Spirit of the Lord impressed upon my spirit the following:

Protection, Provision, Prosperity, Peace, Power, Permanence, and Presence. These seven words all speak of what belongs to every believer in Christ. 

 

Psalm 91:1 declares “He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High God shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (El Shaddai)”

 

Paul warned that in the last days, perilous times would come. In order to be protected by the Spirit of the Lord it is important to understand the things that belong to each and every believer.

 

God has provided us with His Spirit, His word, and all of his heavenly Armor, listed in Ephesians 6:13-17. Take on the full armor of God!

 

Isaiah 60:1-2 tells us. “Arise, shine: for you light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall arise upon you, and His glory will be seen upon you.” We are the people of God, and God’s glory will be seen upon us, even in these last days.
